It has been a very busy couple of months here at Morgan Engineering Consultants so we wanted to give you an update of what has been going on at Morgan Engineering alongside our multiple projects.
Let’s start with a people update. We are very pleased to announce that we have has two new team members join us.
First up, Alex Shier BSc (Hons). Alex has joined us as a Partner and will be focusing on growing the business across London and the South. He specialises in the sympathetic integration of new build structural elements within large scale refurbishment projects.
Our second new team member is Berkan Sirel, who has joined us as a Structural Engineer. He specialises in Finite Element Modelling of engineering structures. Welcome to the team both!
Next up, offices. We have opened two new offices, one in Sutton, London and a second in Colchester, Essex. Our Colchester office will serve as our Head Office headed up by Oliver Morgan whilst our London office will be looked after by Alex Shier. We are looking forward to welcoming all existing and new clients to our offices in the very near future.
On to our latest project now, we have been working on the delivery of Cinch Storage, Garratt Lane, Wimbledon. This is a 4-storey reinforced concrete frame superstructure on reinforced concrete piled foundations. Designed to optimise space and the arrangement of storage units suiting the requirements of a busy commercial unit.
Finally, it would only be right to also mention our new website, you may have noticed it has had a complete overhaul to better reflect the work we undertake.
